We are sad to report that Nancy Jaffe passed away on May 13, 2025, following complications from surgery for pancreatic cancer. Nancy was a co-founder of MangoTango and its CSO for 10 years.
Those who had the privilege of knowing and working with Nancy will remember her sharp intellect, quick wit, and generous spirit. Her loss represents the end of an extraordinary career and a remarkable life.
Her professional path took her from Madison Avenue boardrooms to Silicon Valley start-ups and, later, the policy halls and international development world of Southeast Asia.
Nancy was particularly passionate about supporting young people, especially women, helping them navigate their own paths to career success.
Her legacy lives on in the countless individuals she mentored and lifted up throughout her journey. Her impact on colleagues, the broader professional community, and her work on digital literacy and women’s empowerment will not be forgotten.
